Recent Purchase
The Fire Department’s New Rescue Truck is now ready for calls. A $15,000 Local Assistance Grant was used to help purchase this new truck for the Fire Department. Two older fire trucks were sold to help offset the cost of the new Rescue Truck. Berrien County purchased the two older trucks for the West Berrien Volunteer Fire Department for $10,000. Berrien County then gave an additional $10,000 toward the purchase of this truck along with the $36,000 the City of Nashville put toward the purchase of this truck.
